Eritrean embassy replies to detailed report on the extortion of 2% tax in Britain

A report by Lord Alton, vice chair of the UK’s All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG), detailing the impact of Eritrea’s 2% tax on its British citizens was published this week. Lord Alton followed this report with a call for sanctions against the Eritrean government for forcing the Eritrean diaspora to pay the tax.

Now the Eritrean embassy in the UK has replied. The response is carried in full below.

  1. …and Eritrean jails have no political prisoners without charges in them. Satans mother tongue is lies and it looks like the ambassador has learned this language well!!
